1. Before you lick a SINGLE stamp, assemble one of your wedding invitations completely and have it weighed at the post office! (Often, extra postage is required.)
2. Your printing company should provide you with a proof of your invitation (and any other printed material) before printing the whole batch. After you've given your proofs a throrough once-over, have someone else (like a very detail-oriented friend) do so to check for spelling errors and typos. It can be hard to spot mistakes in something you have written and have at least partially memorized.
