Easter Weekend: 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Liberty House Restaurant celebrates spring by hosting its 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt


A FREE fun-filled event with games, festivities, and an exciting egg hunt to be held in Liberty House’s beautiful English Garden.

Hopping in for a fabulous spring season, the Easter Bunny will once again make a special appearance at  Liberty House Restaurant on Saturday, April 3, 2010.  Liberty House will hold its 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt from 11pm – 2pm.  Reservations are required.  This free event for children 10 and under sponsored by Liberty House Restaurant’s giving program, H.U.G. (Help us Give), is sure to bring smiles to the children of Jersey City and promote community togetherness.

This event will take place in Liberty House’s beautiful English Garden where children will enjoy arts & crafts, face painting, games, and music.  In addition to the Easter Bunny, Mother Goose will also be in attendance telling delightful stories and posing for pictures.  Children will participate in creating their very own Easter cookies to take home as a delicious memory of an unforgettable day!  Reservations are required and can be made by calling 201.395.0300.  In addition, Liberty House having an Easter Sunday feast on Sunday, April 4, 2010 from 11am – 6pm.

"Best Dish" in Island-Wide Competition.



Celebrate at Snug Harbor wins 1st place for "Best Dish" in Island-wide competition. 

Landmark Hospitality's own...Celebrate at Snug Harbor is making the scene in more ways than one. Sunday March 21, 2010  the College of Staten Island Alumni Association, hosted Savor the Flavors, celebrating  Staten Island's diverse cuisine. This scholarship fundraiser donated all the proceeds to benefit CSI's students. Popular Staten Island restaurants and catering venues showcased their signature dishes and described how they were prepared.

Samples included a wide variety of  dishes,wine tasting, and desserts all beautifully displayed. The festivities included celebrity chef judges Rob Burmeister and John Sierp, featured on Food Network's "Chopped," as well as raffles and People's Choice awards.


Celebrate at Snug Harbor served two items: 
black peppered sirloin, with caramelized onion & Maytag Blue Cheese and their delicious  Truffle lollipops; some with sugar, some with pistachio nuts, some with hazelnut.

Catersource 2010

Reports are coming in from the Paris Hotel- Las Vegas that members of the Landmark Hospitality team are busy attending Catersource 2010, the most extensive catering educational conference in the nation. Catersource 2010 is an extraordinary event that includes three days of learning, networking and experiencing the exciting real-world application of the latest trends, techniques and ideas in catering.

"What happens in Vegas won't be staying in Vegas too much longer," according to Jeanne Cretella President of Landmark Hospitality. "We are all busy attending classes and are totally jazzed up about bringing back lots of new and exciting ideas!"   More to come...
